Week 16 Thursday Night Football DFS Helper

By Andrew Doherty

Week 16 kicks off with the Jaguars traveling to take on the Jets in what projects to be a low scoring affair. The current projected total sits at 37, with the Jets as 2 point favorites. Between a stingy Jets defense and a low-ceiling Jets offense with Zach Wilson under center, tonights slate is a tough one to navigate. Don’t worry though, as always I’ve got you covered with the very best value plays available. Here’s what I’m playing tonight:

Garrett Wilson

Regardless of who’s under center Wilson is now the top dog in New York’s offense. Over the past 5 games, Wilson has led the Jets in target share, air yards, and red zone target share. The Jaguars defense is allowing the 3rd most points to wide receivers lined up in the slot, where Wilson lines up 40% of the time.

 Elijah Moore

Moore has begun to earn back his full time role in the Jets offense, and when it’s not Wilson in the slot it’ll be Moore. Slot wideouts have been feasting against Jacksonville all season and with few other pass catching options in what projects to be a low scoring game, we’re going to attack that weakness with both Moore and Wilson.

Zay Jones

Over the last 4 games, Zay Jones has topped teammate Christian Kirk’s target share, air yards, and red zone target share. While the matchup is not appealing, Jones is a big play threat on every play and he’s priced significantly cheaper than Christian Kirk. Both Jones and quarterback Trevor Lawrence have been surging as of late, and Jones should be able to return value at his current price.
