Week 15 Thursday Night Football DFS helper

By Andrew Doherty

Week 15 kicks off with a divisional showdown featuring the 49ers traveling to Seattle to take on the Seahawks. San Francisco enters the contest as 3.5 point favorites despite some questions as to who they will be starting at quarterback. The over/under currently sits at 43 and as always, I’ve gone over each potential play to bring you the very best options for your lineups. Here’s who I like tonight:

Brandon Aiyuk

Aiyuk is my top play on this slate and the absence of Deebo Samuel is a huge reason why. In games without Deebo Samuel over the last 3 seasons, Aiyuk has averaged 3.5 more fantasy points per game while seeing an average of just under 2 more targets per game. Aiyuk has averaged 51.5 yards per game with Brock Purdy at quarterback and projects to see that number jump significantly as the teams number one wide receiver until Deebo returns.

DK Metcalf

DK has been on fire lately. He’s averaging 11 targets per game since Seattle’s bye and has found the end zone in 2 of the last 3 games. Metcalf has recorded at least 70 yards or a touchdown in 6 straight games. Against a San Francisco secondary that’s allowing the 7th most yards and 10th most points to opposing wideouts, DK has massive WR1 upside.

George Kittle

Over his last 3 matchups against Seattle, Kittle has posted a 20/289/2 stat line. The Seahawks defense has been better than expected this year but are still allowing the second most fantasy points per game to opposing tight ends. With Deebo Samuel out, Kittle should see an increased role in the passing game and could be used often as safety valve for whichever 49ers backup QB is under center. While Kittle has been boom or bust so far this season, this matchup is simply too good to pass up.
