Three players who LIT UP the Champions League: ft. 365Scores’ latest statistics technology

The Tuesday night floodlights shone brightly for this round of Champions League fixtures, revealing moments of brilliance that left fans in awe. Across the eight wicked fixtures, three extraordinary players emerged as the stars of the show, captivating spectators with their dazzling skills and impressive performances.

Using 365Scores’ new stats technology, we’re going to analyze the performances of these three superstars.

Rasmus Højlund: Manchester United 23 Galatasaray

The great Dane announced himself to Old Trafford in spectacular style on Tuesday night, it is just a pity that most of his teammates weren’t on the same level. Manchester United floundered in a shocking (well… sort of shock) loss to Galatasaray, but Hojlund was simply sensational.

He was at it from the get-go. In the first minute, the 20-year-old tore past the helpless Sacha Boey exploded onto the wing and proceeded to whip across a perfect pass for Bruno Fernandes. He was relentless the whole game and he scored two fantastic goals. He would’ve had a third but he was denied by the offside flag.

Based on the shots Hojlund took, he would’ve been expected to score 0.72 goals, yet he bagged two.

Well done, Rasmus! Keep it going.

Jude Bellingham: Napoli 23 Real Madrid

Surprise, surprise. The starboy is at it again. He just can’t stop scoring and assisting and he is swiftly becoming the go-to man for Real Madrid.

Against Napoli, it was another inspired performance from the Englishman.

As can be seen by his heatmap, Bellingham was ever present in the midfield but also popped up almost everywhere on the pitch.

For the second game running, Bellingham scored and assisted. He also created four chances, completed 93% of his passes, and completed three successful dribbles.

What can’t the boy do?!

Mikel Oyarzabal: RB Salzburg 02 Real Sociedad

With his dribbling ability and eye for goal, Mikel Oyarzabal is a fantastic talent. He operates all across the frontline and he scored a sumptuous goal against RB Salzburg, picking the ball up on the edge of the box and curling it around unwitting defenders into the far corner.
