This feat surpassed the club’s prior home-attendance record of 61,316 fans when the New England Revolution hosted the 2002 MLS Cup.
This record-breaking attendance came just two weeks after Lionel Messi and Inter Miami competed against Sporting Kansas City at Arrowhead Stadium, drawing in 72,610 fans, recording the fourth-largest crowd in MLS history.
