Best NFL Player Props for Week 6

By Andrew Doherty

Last Sunday was a very profitable day for anyone who followed, hitting on 7 out of 8 player props. As I mentioned in last week’s article, this year has been full of surprises when it comes to individual player performances. Between a rash of injuries, studs starting slow, and everything in between, it’s been a tough year to navigate for player props. Don’t worry though, I’ll have you covered every Sunday here at 365scores with my top plays for the week. Here’s what I’m rolling with for props this Sunday:

Best NFL Player Props for Week 6

Najee Harris under 43.5 yards rushing

I played the Najee under on rushing yards last week with success and I’m going back to the well again. Harris came nowhere close to hitting the over against a smothering Bills run defense, mustering only 20 rushing yards on 11 attempts last week. His fortunes won’t improve much this week against a stout Bucs front seven. Though the Steelers offensive line is problematic, it’s notable that backup Jaylen Warren played 51% of the Steelers offensive snaps last week and fared better than Najee, rushing for 24 yards on 5 attempts.

Jeff Wilson Jr over 64.5 yards rushing

Wilson Jr has thrived in San Francisco’s running back-friendly scheme in 2022 since getting the starting nod after starter Elijah Mitchell went down with a knee injury. He’s the primary ball carrier for the 49ers, averaging nearly 15 carries per game. Wilson Jr is averaging 5.1 yards per carry and this week faces a middling Atlanta defense that allows 114.8 rush yards per game. I’d play this one up to 69.5 yards.

Cooper Kupp over 94.5 yards receiving

The man who’s proven to be completely matchup-proof gets a plus matchup this weekend against a banged-up Carolina secondary. Top cornerback Jaycee Horn may not play, and even if he does he will be limited. Standout safety Jeremy Chinn is on IR. As the injuries pile up for Carolina in the secondary, they will be dealing with a coaching change after moving on from head coach Matt Rhule in the season. The Rams enter this game as 10-point favorites but could still continue to pass even with the game in hand to help the offense finally get right.

Ezekiel Elliot under 58.5 yards rushing

Averaging 61.0 yards per game on an average of 16.2 attempts, the only thing keeping Zeke ahead of Tony Pollard on the depth chart is Jerry Jones pride. Zeke is averaging a meager 3.8 yards per carry and this week gets a tough matchup against Philadelphia. There’s a very real chance that Zeke gets scripted out of the game against the undefeated Eagles, as Tony Pollard sees the bulk of passing down work.

Tony Pollard over 30.5 rush yards

Pollard is clearly the more explosive and dynamic player in the Cowboys backfield. Averaging nearly 2 more yards per carry than his running mate Ezekiel Elliott, the Cowboys would be wise to lean on Pollard to jump start their running game on Sunday. The Eagles, who rank 10th in the league in rush yards allowed per game at 105, are simply too good up front to keep trying to establish the power run game with Zeke. Pollard, who is averaging 5.6 yards per carry, has 56 more rush yards on the season than Zeke on 37 less attempts. Expect an uptick in touches for Pollard in this one.
