Hey Jude. Congratulations on an incredible year. 2023’s Golden Boy. The current king of the footballing streets. His chant ‘Belligol’ yelled from all corners of clubs and classrooms. He is simply HIM.

Aged 19, Bellingham won the Bundesliga Player of the Year award for his sensational performances over the 22/23 season which then earned him a €100m move to Real Madrid. As it stands, it looks like Madrid got a bargain. From an advanced midfield position, Bellingham has scored 17 goals in 21 games for Real, as well as chipping in with five assists. He is ripping up the Champions League, single-handedly dismantled Barcelona in El Clasico and won the Golden Boy award. Enhorabuena!

Goal of the Year: Alejandro Garnacho (Everton 0-3 Manchester United | 26th November | Premier League)

Yet another of 365Scores’ awards is heading to Manchester, but this time to the red side. Alejandro Garnacho is a renowned Cristiano Ronaldo fanboy and tries to emulate his idol at any opportunity possible. Against Everton at a fervent Goodison Park, Garnacho channelled his inner-Ronaldo better than anybody has since Ronaldo himself. Diogo Dalot whipped in a slightly lopsided cross towards the box. Garnacho, slightly ahead of the ball, decided to improvise. The Argentinian galloped backwards and, on almost the edge of the area, leapt into the air with a bicycle motion and the poise of a ballerina. His right foot kissed the speeding, spinning ball and it flew into the far corner, past a helpless Jordan Pickford. The animated Everton fans were silenced, if not awestruck. The Manchester United fans enraptured. Garnacho, almost surprised himself, displayed Ronaldo’s trademark ‘SIU’ celebration and let the crowd appreciate his magic.
