The NBA Season is Underway. Here are five things that 365Scores loves!

The 2023/24 NBA season is well underway, and fans have already been treated to a week of exhilarating basketball action. With each team vying for superiority and rookies and vets alike showcasing their talents, the season promises to be a spectacular journey filled with intense competition and unforgettable moments. In this article, we’ll take a closer look at the ongoing NBA season, pinpointing five things that we’ve loved. Whether you’ve been following from the first tip-off or you’re just jumping on the bandwagon, there’s something for everyone to savor in this year’s NBA action.

1. Luka Magic

Luka Dončić is on fire. The Slovenian is playing better than ever, and he’s got the Mavericks firing as well. Yet to be beaten, Dončić is leading the league in scoring (33.8pts) and is third in assisting (9.8pts). He’s looked genuinely unstoppable. He again looks like the ultimate version of Dončić that we’ve seen for spells throughout his career. If he keeps this up, he’s looking like the next MVP.

2. Welcome, Wembanyama

Has a draft prospect ever been as hyped up as Victor Wembanyama? Maybe 20 years ago with a certain LeBron James, but not since. Either way, the Frenchman isn’t letting the hype get to his head as he’s made a great start to life in the NBA.

Averaging 16.3 points per game and 7.5 rebounds, as well as 2.3 blocks, Wemby is showing a lot of the promise that he demonstrated in the French league last year.

A scintillating battle between Kevin Durant and the Phoenix Suns was incredible, with a repeat happening today. Two giants, literally, of the game, past and future. Be there!

3. Are the Clippers a Superteam?

The Los Angeles Clippers have certainly assembled a star-studded roster that has the basketball world buzzing with excitement. One may even use the word superteam. Kawhi Leonard, Paul George, Russell Westbrook, and the newest addition, James Harden, are all accomplished players with All-Star credentials. With their collective talent, they have their sights set on the ultimate goal: an NBA championship. The Clippers’ current record of 3-2 is a promising start, but the prospect of integrating a dynamic scorer like Harden into the lineup is nothing short of tantalizing. Once Harden joins the mix, the Clippers may well become an unstoppable force, making them a force to be reckoned with as the season unfolds.

4. Celtics’ domination

The Boston Celtics have been nothing short of dominant in the early stages of this NBA season. Led by the extraordinary talent of Jayson Tatum, they’ve managed to maintain a perfect 4-0 record. Tatum has been the driving force behind this success, displaying an awe-inspiring level of skill and determination. Averaging an incredible 29.8 points per game, his offensive prowess is simply on another level. What’s more, his remarkable accuracy from beyond the arc, shooting at a scorching 41%, makes him an offensive juggernaut that opponents are struggling to contain. With Tatum’s remarkable efficiency and the Celtics’ impressive start, they’ve quickly become a team to watch, and their performance will undoubtedly be a key storyline in the unfolding season.

5. ‘I been Steph Curry with the shot’

He will never age. Steph Curry is continuing to dominate as he enters his 14th year of NBA basketball. After four games, Curry had 24 threes, which is the most made threes through a player’s first four games of a season in NBA history. He has the Warriors at 4-1 now and it would be no surprise at all if he was to take this team far into the playoffs once again. Who knows, they could even go and win it…
